San Antonio Startup Week to Celebrate Entrepreneurial Innovation, October 16-22
SASW Offers a Week of Resources and Inspiration
(San Antonio, Aug. 2, 2022) San Antonio Startup Week will rally entrepreneurs and startups from all sectors in a seven-day mix of educational panels, actionable workshops, hyper-local activations, and city-building events from October 16 – 22 in downtown San Antonio. Every aspect of SA Startup Week will be free and open to the public.
SA Startup Week will revolve around two themes: “Kickstart the Future” and “Community Connects Us All.” It offers eight programming tracks: Startups, Technology, Spotlight, Civic Engagement, Culture, Health, Marketing, and Brand Experience.
“We’re ready to emerge from a couple of tough years with a renewed sense of purpose to inspire and support entrepreneurs poised to disrupt and innovate. We want to reinforce the sense of community that San Antonio is known for and help founders find the community that will support and propel them forward,” said Phillip Hernandez, Chief Operating Officer of Geekdom, which is managing the event for the first time.
“If you have started a business, are curious about entrepreneurship, or just want to hang out in a creative, inspirational environment, SA Startup Week is for you,” said Ja’el Thompson, SA Startup Week’s creative director and executive producer. “We’ve assembled a diverse, experienced team to develop programming for everyone from tech to fashion entrepreneurs.”
There are several ways to get involved now:
- Register – Registration is open at https://sasw.co/. Though SA Startup Week is free, registration is required. The schedule is being updated as speakers, panels, and events are confirmed.
- Volunteer – SA Startup Week volunteers are needed to help staff all aspects of the event and will receive cool swag and goodies for sharing their time and talents. https://sasw.co/get-involved/
- Sponsor – SA Startup Week sponsors have the opportunity to expose their brands to thousands of individuals leading up to and throughout SA Startup Week.
