San Antonio Startup Week to Ignite Entrepreneurial Innovation, October 16-21
SASW Offers a Week of Resources and Inspiration
(San Antonio, Aug. 24, 2023) San Antonio Startup Week will rally entrepreneurs and startups from all sectors in a six-day mix of educational panels, actionable workshops, hyper-local activations, and city-building events from October 16 – 21 in downtown San Antonio. Every aspect of SA Startup Week will be free and open to the public. SA Startup Week’s theme is Ignite Innovation: Celebrating Entrepreneurs and Startups in San Antonio. The schedule offers four programming tracks: Ideate, Cultivate, Shape and Grow.
“Geekdom is eager to welcome entrepreneurs from every industry across San Antonio, Central and South Texas to SA Startup Week. If you have started a business, are curious about entrepreneurship, or just want to hang out in a creative, inspirational environment, SA Startup Week is for you,” said Charles Woodin, CEO of Geekdom, the organization managing the conference.
There are several ways to get involved now:
● Register – Registration is open Though SA Startup Week is free, registration is required. The schedule is being updated as speakers, panels, and events are confirmed.
● Volunteer – SA Startup Week volunteers are needed to help staff all aspects of the event and will receive cool swag and goodies for sharing their time and talents.
● Sponsor – SA Startup Week sponsors have the opportunity to expose their brands to thousands of individuals leading up to and throughout SA Startup Week. Multiple sponsorship levels are available, or SASW will customize a sponsor experience to suit the client or contact sastartupweek@gmail.com.
● Submit a Session – If you have an idea for a speaker or panel session, submit it here: The deadline to submit is Sept. 6.
In the coming weeks, SA Startup Week will announce keynote speakers and panelists, events, and other exciting developments. SA Startup Week is hosted by Geekdom in partnership with the 80|20 Foundation and Trinity University’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The creative direction for SA Startup Week is being led by local agency Symbio Hush, the marketing arm of The Down Market, a cultural media platform.
