SAN ANTONIO – Kickback and relax during San Antonio Startup Week.
The Downtempo nights are hosted by Sound and Leisure Chair, Robert Gonzalez aka DJ Novasoul.
The event will take place Monday through Friday from 3:45 PM-6:45 PM at Legacy Park. It will help bring people together from our community including attendees of SASW to exchange ideas, and foster relationships while enjoying chill music and fun activities.
Throughout the week different DJs will host the event, curating music from a variety of genres such as hip-hop, soul, funk, so-fi, etc. All attendees will have the opportunity to unwind, eat, drink, and play. Attendees can stop by Pinkertons BBQ to purchase signature SASW cocktails and beers.
“Downtempo is a cross-cultural event, bringing all attendees together all in one place, engaging the community in unexpected ways, all while listening to music,” stated DJ Novasoul.
As part of SASW, it provides a restful pause from the presentations and sessions occurring throughout the day. Social events like Downtempo Nites make it easier to meet and network with individuals in a non-business-like setting.
This event will help build opportunities for future collaborations that further enhance the sense of connection and community in our city.
